Who We Are

The Ausar Auset Society International is a Pan African organization. The core values are extracted from the world’s oldest Civilization on record which was the great African Civilization of Ancient Kamit (Egypt).

The Society provides spiritual training centered around the process of becoming an Ausar – a Divine Being, and is dedicated to improving the quality of life of African people the world over. The founder and Shekhem Ur Shekhem of the Ausar Auset Society, Dr. Ra un Nefer Amen, is a prolific writer. He has authored more than forty books, including the Society’s core curricular material, the seven volume series, Metu Neter (Word of God).

THE AUSAR AUSET SOCIETY
PROGRAM of SPIRITUAL DEVELOPMENT

The Society
Founded in 1973 by Dr. Ra Un Nefer Amen, the Shekhem Ur Shekhem, the Ausar Auset Society is a Pan-African Spiritual organization with the mission of using the knowledge of indigenous African cultures, history and spiritual traditions to restore the people of African descent to our traditional greatness. To that end, the Ausar Auset Society has been providing Afrocentric based spiritual training to the African-American community and to African descendants in the Diaspora for over 45 years without interruption.

Spiritual Cultivation
The spiritual development program revolves around the oldest religion known to mankind – the Ausarian religion of ancient Kamit. The program reunites the traditions of the Black founders of the ancient great Black civilizations, allowing us to weave their knowledge into a spiritually empowering way of life which aims at the awakening of the Ausar principle (the Divine Self) within each individual.

Ausar
Since spirituality underlies all areas of life endeavor, it is imperative to cultivate the power of the spirit to its highest level. All offerings aim at spiritually uplifting the individual to his/her true Self as symbolized in the Kamitic concept of Ausar – the Divine Self. In supporting the cultivation of the divine Self we help to transcend the false self-image and the negative patterns of thinking, feeling, and acting which keep us from succeeding in life.

Maat
Maat (Divine Law) is the standard by which man must be measured while interacting on this physical plane. A successful campaign to this end is the requirement for making one’s body, one’s life even, a fit vessel through which the Supreme Being’s divine attributes can be of service to all creation.

Offerings and Services
All offerings and services are taught and presented by qualified priests and priestesses in the society. A partial list of some of the offerings include live and online classes and workshops on Kamitic (Ancient Egypt) Philosophy, Meditation and Ritual, Oracle Consultation, Kundalini Yoga, Nutrition, African History and Culture, Bazi, alternative healing options, and Introduction to Kamitic Spirituality, as well as many other spiritual disciplines which are taught to students/initiates around the world.

The selection of offerings and services offered is based on the observation and understanding that the most important need of African people for survival and flourishment in the world is a return to our ancient indigenous spiritual traditions.

Priesthood
For the Ausar Auset Society member who has demonstrated commitment and a serious focus on their spiritual development, Ausar Auset Society offers a multi-tiered Priesthood Training Program.  Graduate priests in the Society carry out their service as part of the Ausar Auset Society Priesthood hierarchy.
